Folk saying: One Rosa Roxburghii Fruit a Day, Health and Beauty Stay

The rosa roxburghii fruit is both a medicinal and edible fruit, renowned for its rich nutritional composition and dual benefits for health and beauty. Known as a “nutritional powerhouse”, it contains an abundance of Vitamin C, superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), polyphenols, flavonoids, amino acids, and other bioactive compounds.

Among these nutrients, Vitamin C stands out the most. The Vitamin C content in rosa roxburghii fruit is the highest among fruits currently known. On average, 100 grams of fresh fruit contains approximately 2,300 milligrams of Vitamin C—500 times more than apples, 50 times more than oranges, and 30 times more than kiwis—earning it the title of “The King of Vitamin C”.

More importantly, the naturally balanced combination of vitamin C, superoxide dismutase, and flavonoids in Rosa Roxburghii forms a powerful synergistic antioxidant system, which is a key reason for its outstanding nutritional value and functional benefits.

Superoxide dismutase reduces the most destructive free radicals at their source, Vitamin C rapidly neutralizes free radicals and Flavonoids slow the oxidation of vitamin C while protecting SOD
enzyme activity, supporting repair and regeneration.

Compared with single-ingredient supplements, natural Rosa Roxburghii offers clear advantages. Its nutrients exist in ratios that better align with human physiological needs, helping to avoid irritation that may result from high-dose single vitamin C supplementation. As a natural, complex nutritional source, it is also more easily absorbed and utilized by the body.

According to a 2021 study on the efficacy of rosa roxburghii (published by the Public Nutrition
Improvement Project Office of China, Guizhou Province, and the Key Laboratory of Natural
Product Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), its rich nutrients and functional
compounds provide numerous applications. These include anti-oxidation and anti-aging,
immune regulation, glucose and lipid metabolism modulation, anti-inflammatory properties, and detoxification.

Notably, rosa roxburghii has shown benefits in alleviating conditions such as urticaria, oral ulcers (caused by Vitamin C deficiency), melasma (consumer picture), acne (comsure picture), menopausal symptoms, gout, and in boosting immunity and reducing hangover effects.

Drinking Rosa Roxburghii juice in moderation daily can bring comprehensive improvements to the body.
